PORT STEPHENS

Australian/International Development Blind Sailing Regatta.

29th September to 3rd October 2003.

Location: Port Stephens Sailability

Grahamstown Dam, Port Stephens, N.S.W. (2 hours north of Sydney)

Details of event:

Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th September ・training and familiarization

Wednesday 1st, Thursday 2nd, and Friday 3rd October ・Match racing and

Fleet racing competition utilizing the Homerus beeping Buoys・system.

Competition will be sailed in Access Dinghies (303).

Blind folds will be used to ensure all sailors compete equally.

Sailors will be match racing single handed.

Cost $200 (Australian dollars) per person.

Entrance Fee includes:-

* 5 days sailing ・Boats are provided including insurance.

* Lunch and happy hour・every day.

* Opening BBQ Dinner at Sailing Club on Monday evening 29th September.

* Prize Giving Ceremony and Closing Dinner on Friday evening 3rd October.

Accommodation: Choice of Home stay or Motels. Please advice your preference, and any special needs.

Notice of Race will be forwarded by email after 1st July, 2003.

Following the completion of this competition, sailors have the opportunity to also participate in the Open Port Stephens Cup competition at this same location on 4th and 5th October.
